Swim Team




Osage City Parks and Recreation is forming a swim team to compete with and against area towns.

  • Swimmers can be between 6-18 years of age.
  • A swimmers age is their age on or before June 22, 2013.
  • Swim team divisions:
8 & under - 10 & under - 12 & under - 14 & under - 18 & under.
  • Swim Team Pre-Requisites
(1) Swimmers MUST be able to swim the length of the OCAC pool.
(2) Completion of Level 3 Red Cross Swim Lessons is recommended.
  • Swim Meet Pre-Requisites
(1) Swimmers MUST be able to swim one length of the pool without stopping.
(2) All swimmers must attend 50% of the team practices to be eligible for
each week's swim meet.
  • Swim team practice starts June 3 (Mon)
Experienced Swimmers, 8-9:30am
Beginner Swimmers and U8 Swimmers, 9-10am
  • Swim meets are Saturdays, at a league team's host pool, typically 8:30am - 12:00pm.
  • Swim Meet Season --- June 22 - July 20
  • Swim team members are provided a team swim suit, t-shirt or tank top, and swim cap.
  • SWIM TEAM PARENT MEETING --- MAY 23 -- 6pm -- OCAC
This is a Mandatory Meeting for BOTH Swimmers and Parents. Swim Suit Sizes and Shirt/Tank Top Sizes will be taken. Parents & Swimmers not attending the Parent Meeting MUST meet with Tracy prior to their first practice.
  • Cost --- $45 per swimmer
