PARKS & RECREATION DIRECTOR

Corey Linton

Corey has been the Osage City Parks and Recreation Director for the past 17 years. Corey and his wife Amy, who is a teacher for USD 420, have one daughter, Harmony, 12.


Corey came to Osage City from Warrensburg, Missouri where he worked for the Warrensburg Parks and Recreation Department for five years as their Sports Director. He was in charge of all youth and adult sports programs.


Corey is from Ellsworth, KS. He began college at Kansas University and received his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Recreation from Emporia State University. Prior to working in Warrensburg, Corey worked for the Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department as a Recreation Center Leader and also the Salina Parks and Recreation Department as the Bill Burke Sports Complex Supervisor.
